The pH electrodes POLILYTE LAB and POLYPLAST are maintenance-free and do not have to be refilled with electrolyte. This convenience along with the applied SINGLE PORE concept provides the basis for safe and precise measurements. Thanks to the patented POLISOLVE polymer electrolyte the sensors do not require diaphragms that have a tendency to clog. This permanently installed polymer electrolyte is in direct contact with the sample. In a study by the German national metrology institute PTB, patented SINGLE PORE electrodes were found to be the most precise.
The pH electrode POLYPLAST TEMP DIN has the same properties as the POLILYTE LAB and the POLYPLAST, but it is also fitted with a built-in NTC 30 kOhm temperature sensor. This electrode is compatible with all commonly-used measurement devices such as Knick and WTW. POLILYTE LAB, POLYPLAST and POLYPLAST TEMP DIN electrodes have an almost unlimited range of application:
- Deionised water.
- Waste water, mud.
- Samples with high protein content.
- Watery suspensions.
- TRIS and HEPES buffers.
